Was looking at exhausts and can get a screaming demon cheap but are they any good?
I have a 2013 ER6N so parallel twin and its a straight through system I'm looking at.
I didn't think there could be that much difference between say a two brothers akrapovic Scorpion or screaming demon on a two banger straight through our am i wrong?
Currently it has a three pass exhaust system with cat stock but it is insanely quiet and i have been told you can see up to 8hp ripping it off
Thoughts please :-)
Also with this should i get a power commander or not needed?

There is a huge difference between pipes,
Usual rule off thumb is to buy a pipe that the factory team uses as those Exhaust manufacturers get the bike (most models ,pre production) 4-5 months before release to capture the market (more sales) when the bike gets released.
For ex: Yoshimura with any Suzuki model currently they have just got there 2014 gsxr1000 to build and test products and this bike is still in test mode till august.
Akrapovic usually has three motorcycle manufacturers pre production models well before release .Akrapovic sells more car exhaust now than motorcycle.
Two Brothers, worst pipe on the planet no Real R&D same muffler just rotated in a clockwise direction and the company has no insight but thye sell alot due to the cheap price. Most other motorcycle exhaust companys (fmf, muzzy, leo vince and so on) brorrow bikes from local dealers when released. These bikes can't be rode on the dyno or started so usually there pipes are crap as there is only so much you can do in 48hrs before returing the bike.
Any full system you decide on will only increase mid and top Hp by 2.5-3.5bhp with a little more over rev.A power commander or Bazzaz will not increase as inspected but a full custom mapp from a Good dyno operator should be able to pull another 2.5-3bhp from the tuning out off a ER-6.
K/n or bmc air filter will only lose Hp but they have he benefit off the filter to be cleaned and reused .All factory Superbikes usually run stock filters (as per the Law) you can cheat by removing a layer off paper with a razor to gain slighty more flow .

What Chris said.. also.. there are probably many sites where you can get a break down of the different pipes and what effect they have. I recently found one for the street and speed triples - mostly (in accord with Chris), they were either 0, or 3-5 HP.
I ride an old ZRX and there are many examples of dyno'd results for different exhausts and other mods -have a look around, for example: http://www.kawiforums.com/ninja-650r-er6/217490-er6n-2012-2013-exhausts.html
I have a bolt on D&D pipe on mine, which doesnt _really_ make any difference except in my head.. and of course that lovely WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAA WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAA WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA as I (slowly - because I never speed) move away from the lights :P

Your bike won't be LAMS legal if you change the 'zorst
It will not gain a significant amount of power, if at all without a power commander.
It'll sound very nice though, and that's the main thing.
Read the top one again.
My suggestion is to have the standard strangler...err muffler debaffled. Cheap, and doesn't look illegal for them cops who pull you over with your sexy 'zorst.
