Nice bike. I would love a Gixer but my hips say no. You may want to do some better pics, they are hard to make out.

when I first got it, I fuckin hated it. I named it "axewound" because it looks like someone hit the front of it with an axe to make room for the headlight.
It has since grown on me.
After doing one trackday on it, and a boys trip over 5 days of 500+km a day riding, I have to say my anti-suzuki prejudices have been swayed. Its an awesome bike.
Its also a LOT of bike for the money. heads of grunt, comfy as hell, great handling and fast as fuck.

haha, a trike, because two wheels are not enough to control it's awesomeness?

youd be surprised at how comfy this thing is. I can ride it for hours and hours and hours and not be sore at all.

well this is slow going.
is it priced wrong?
is it $1 reserve time?
5.5 looks cheap to ne.
Kiwi's seem to have this strange conception though that once a bike has done more than thirty thousand k it isn't worth much and after forty thousand it isn't worth anything!
The bikes I've owned overseas I rode well past 100km before selling them... as long as they are serviced properly there's no reason any bike shouldn't do that.
That being said, put it on TM for $1 and you will probably get $7k. What's the new toy you trading the R1 and the Gixxer for?

Seems like a lot of bike for the money to me. I just have no business being on a litre bike

I have 3 or 4 that Im keen on, but can only have one at a time now, train every night so dont have time to justify two like I used to.
really depends which of my desired list are out there once both of these are gone.
Have been looking at late model R1's. 06, 07/08, and crossplanes, as well as a ducati 1098 that popped up at a reasonable price recently.
a couple other possibilities too, if I can locate them!

nah, buy it, and ride it around in 1st gear everywhere! still fast enough to lose your licence though!:nono:

Bikes are moving real slow at the moment just ask Maha, the middle of winter also doesn't help.
Perhaps if you see a bike you like the seller might take yours as part trade.

At least with a $1 reserve you'll get a buyer. Get a mate or two to Shill bid it up if it looks to be closing below what you want for it. That seems to be how trade me auctions work, in general.
I'd buy it at 5k coz it would be a good buy. More than 5.5 isn't a bargain. once you are in that over 6k bracket there are more options, so I think at 5.5 someone will be keen. Your location doesn't help though. Some Mug in Auckland would pay 6k if it was just across town. Unfortunately I'm not cashed up enough to be genuinely interested. Good luck with the sale though.

That probably isn't helping you sell the bike either. Unusually good price for a stealership.

When a dealership says the condition is fair then they mean rooted. Ex race bike wouldnt have been for many slides.....

ha. problem with shill bidding is when you have to keep relisting because some one 'jerked you round' etc, it becomes obvious pretty quick that youre a dishonest cunt and nobody wants to buy from ya. I want a clean sale!.
Hey if some mug in auckland wants it, I would consider shipping it to them for 6k . . .
