Fuck that was bad luck aye....or maybe he hadn't thought of learning to ride first....or maybe karma caught up with him. Either way you look at it, he was probably te happiest he had ever been living with the miserable bitch that "wouldn't let him" get a bike when he was younger

That's right - it was all her fault.

At least he never found out that the Harley was going to break down just another 10 miles up the road.

What's your take on this? It seems strange that someone would go 38 years wanting a bike and being told " No" , then he buys one. Sounds a bit far fetched to me. Some interesting comments after the main article.

I doubt that after seeing is fate in front of him in the shape of a fuckin' big truck that ''‘Dad went out with the biggest smile on his face." would have been more :gob:

I checked but didn't find any earlier tread about this story.

No one's putting the shit into him. None of us would want to see any person killed at all, much less so soon after buying a bike. It just struck me as strange that you could want something like a bike or a car, for so long and never actually buy it.

It appears my post has found its way into another post on the same subject.

Sorry to read of his fate. He should have been man enough to ride a bike if he felt like it and he should have had the brains to get lessons before he rode a Harley.

With respect to his wife, didn't it occur to her that it would be safer if he got some lessons and experience before he started riding a Harley in traffic? Guess not...
