Hey guys,

Long shot here but gonna try.
I have my full license booked for tomorrow afternoon and bike is in at the shop getting repaired.
Is there anyone in Auckland that would be willing to lend me their 250cc bike for the afternoon?
It would be hugely appreciated and a box of beer and tank of gas would be in return.

Botany Honda used to hire 250's out to people at one stage I think, try them...they might be able to help.

I'd say you are right, it's a long shot and you're not giving folk a lot of time to help you...

If no-one comes up with anything, some of the bike hire places might do you a LAMS bike for a couple of hours.

E.g. these guys (http://www.nzbike.com/terms.aspx) mention it in T&C's but don't give any pricing. Or these (http://www.nzmotorcyclerentals.com/new-zealand-motorcycle-rental.php#Yamaha 250cc various models). Or a big scroter (http://www.scootling.co.nz/index.php/hire/view_scooter/904) costing $60 for 4 hours.

Yea sorry about the late notice, my original plans fell through as my friend realised his bike is out of wof and reg! But appreciate the help and thoughts guys!

I think Riderskills may hire out 250s for licence tests.

We do have a facility to hire bikes for the test. Sorry I missed this post askaz, I would have been able to help.
