LTZ400 fan on often

Bought an LTZ400, noticed on a slow ride the other day over a few dunes, the radiator fan coming on often.

Is this normal? I'm not used to water cooling..radiator looks clean in the fins, and is full of antifreeze.

Is this okay for it? Maybe since a lot of my riding will be at a lower speed with the wife on her quad, I should have got an air cooled quad...

Any Z owners on here?

slow riding on sand dunes would make it hot, the fan just allows air flow, its normal and nothing to be worried about, its what it is there for,
