They're only bees FFS... it ain't like they're important. I wonder what we killed off that fed on the varroa mite?

Anyhoo, is there anything on how to remove blood sucking mights from a beehive :shifty:

I heard a whisper that monsanto (global scum corporation...) has ripped out beehives somewhere.

Aha!
Roundup-resistant bees?

I know of one bee hive in Wellington that Monsanto are welcome to come and spray, full of drones that produce nothing.

Unforunately, Unstuck, if people cant see it happening, then many just dont care.

I read something a while ago, that if insects died off tomorrow, the world would be dead or dying in 5 years. If mankind died off tomorrow, the world would replenish itself in the same time.
The timelines are hyperthetical but the outcomes are probably correct.

Many do see it happening too, and still dont care. It is much easier and quicker to spray poisons all over, than weed by hand.
The only way for people to become aware is through being made aware. The ones who do care about the environment, MAY see something like this posted somewhere, and add it to their own way of thinking. And to me, thats a positive.
Thats the only reason I posted it on a biker forum, maybe that one person will see it, and make a positive change in their own little world, then someone may see them doing something different and start asking questions themselves. And then it grows..............

I can dream anyway.:niceone:

I once killed a bee, should i feel really bad. I really like honey too, my favourite food next to beer.
The circumstance(s) was/were always in 3's

1/ Cruising along on 650 Trumph arses off bike on marble gravel road in the wops, slightly dazed, girlfriend gains one black boob and burns leg on zorst, my shoulder farking sore as took brunt of fall and skid down road with bike following. Right side bars bent in to meet tank. Get bike going and limp homeward very quietly.

2 couple miles from home...bee goes down gap between ripped glove and jacket, stings sore grazed arm, arm starts to swell bad, bee humanely euthanised in rapid reaction whilst trying to avoid a second off

3 carry on couple miles nearly home and back wheel goes down, bloody great nail sticking in it

needless to say we had a wake to reflect on the poor bees life, and then the state of my bike and burning question should we head to hospital to get checked out. Few beers later the concensus was no.

We laugh about it now  poor bee.
