i think they got mixed reviews.

Apparently if you service every 5000 and dont ride like a bitch, they wont break.

...as much.

Due to your size these would be the better choice if you wanted to stick to a 250cc.
IMO I'd go for the Comet (naked version) as it'll give you more room on the bike plus it's easy to throw some risers on it.
As mentioned elsewhere, have a look at the LAMS approved bikes too

I also vote lams approved. It will work out better in the long run for ya if your buying new :-)

If you get one, keep an eye on the oil level. Even a little low and they can shit the bottom end. Do proper servicing and it should last well.

You should probably stay off the roads then squid

Seriously though Mate has a 07 hyo 250 hasn't had any problems with a regular service and stuff.

Congrats on the Bike! - I have a hyosung 2008 250cc - She cheap, she's korean, but she's mine.
I think they get a bad wrap because they aren't a popular brand, but I've had no issues with mine.

I picked mine up for 2,200 I had to replace the mirrors, and get a WOF and Reg, so add up that total 2,500. got 16000 on the clock.
