Just want to find out if and how everyone has re routed there crankcase breathers to reduce the chance of getting water and mud into the engine.
This happened to a mate of mine after getting stuck in a huge muddy rut, deep enough that water went over the seat. A clay sludge blocked the oil pickup and the resulting rebuild was rather expensive.
Since we have made the breather hose go much higher under the tank but still back down towards the shock.
I have heard of guys putting the hose into the air box , anyone done this?
On the RMZ250 there is even a blanked of lug or hole in the front of the air box that looks the right size to take the breather hose, any one notice or used that ?
