Hey folks, looking to get back on a bike but not sure what to go for. I'm a tall lad 6"3 so would like a large frame bike i' love nekid sports bikes. Need to be okay for learners still haven't got round to getting full license. Previously I had a Hyosung comet 250, (good size) and a Honda Hornet ( great bike). Just wondering what you guys would suggest? Oh yeah money about 4k to spend on this new bike so looking second hand.

If youve been away for a wee while, you might not know about lams. do a search on LAMS but the basics are this: You can ride selected bikes up to 650cc, so for example, you can get the 650cc version of the hyosung comet you have had before.
$4k should leave you with enough options, have a look through the lams list, then do a google images search on anything you havent heard of before to whet your appetite abd figure out what you like the look of.
then go test ride some bikes and go from there. No point telling you what I think the best bike is, because unless youre a bit of a lunatic, it probably won't suit ya!:innocent:

One thing to watch with hyosung 650s and other brands is that they are not all lams legal, most do a restricted version for the learner market, usually indicated by a L after the name, ie hoysung gt650L, have you considered a Ducati monster 400, should be in your price range, ducati even do a lams 610 monster that can easily be de restricted when you her your full licence.
