Is this normal or should they all be the same? (Im guessing they should all be the same) Bought new carb parts, but when I received the pack of new needles I thought I received the wrong ones as I had taken apart one carb and it had the needle with the black rubber/nylon tip. However when I took the rest apart this evening, this is what I found. The hand brake system is off a bandit bike, and I think that the nylon tip needle is off a bandit carb.... With the three silver looking needles they are correct for my model for my bike.... Dont know how to work out what model carb I have on the bike now.

Better to remain quiet and be thought ignorant than to use your keyboard and prove it beyond doubt. Fucktard.

The bike is a GS550M Katana right?

It should have Mikuni 32mm CV carbs spec number for the float needles is 13370-44080 possibly superseded by 13370-44500

*scratches head* Yes it is the 550M, I dont know the clinical name for this part  just know them as float bowl needles sorry.

New ones which arrived are K&L Float needles (6/P) Mikuni - Type Float Needle :M2 18-8957 On the back of the pack it says (4) (as in 4 parts) TR292756 / 18 - 8957

This seems a foreign language to me!!!

Float needles or needle valves. Some people refer to them as float valves which would seem a better description? Hope you get it sorted out proper like!

Spec 1982 Suzuki GS550Mz Katana listing: Needle valve assembly part #13370-44500 (current number so should be available OEM part)
that's the needle & seat
Should be able to cross reference parts or someone who has a K&L supply catalogue ;) their website is as useful as tits on a bull :pinch:
