you and me both! ive owned them, hard to find them now without 2nd gear mashed.i sold my last complete one deregistered and jammed in gear to a bloke for $500.00 boo hoo i think from 87' onwards they had a beefier g/box..which youd want coz fun bike to wheelstand in 2nd!

My freind has one dont think keen on selling it though i can only ask what sort money are they worth. his needs bit antention on leaking rear carb but was running fine before that.

sounds like easy fix...if engine and body work are in good shape itd be worth knowing more. the op is looking to by within $2k i think.
