Hi,
Well i bought a Leo Vince Corsa from RevZilla and got it shipped out here, Took about 10 days to arrive using YouShop.
Fit it to my bike, Now.... With the silencer in is very loud, Also you could describe it as a raspy sound. Basically turned into a cop magnet. I was wondering if there is any way i could silence it a bit and not have that raspy noise the silencer makes and keep the deep gargle of it. A friend suggested chicken wire.. But that itsnt going to fly... Anyone have any idea on how i can keep a good crisp thump and not have it scream..
Cheers

make a db killer insert, which is basically a smaller pipe and plate that bolts inside the end of the zorst, it is more restrictive , thats kinda how it works :)

it came with one, Still very loud with it inserted.
Any other options? Maybe weld some extra pipes onto that restricter and make it longer?
Thanks

Move south,
No one seems to care about how loud your pipes are.

You need to interrupt the flow to remove the energy. A pipe inserted with several cuts & centre punched in so they form cup shapes to the gas will knock some sound out of it, but is hardly efficient. You can make a silencer that will be quiet & not lose performance, but the trade off is size & ultimately weight.

I am more worried for the person who walks along the street will become deaf than myself. Its not the amount of noise it is the noise it produces, Its like a harsh crackle.
IDK im removing the DB killer and open it up next to a bus and hope for the best :P

Hey mate, there's a few blokes over at cbr250.net running LV Corsa's. One guy reckons he's getting good noise reduction by using a 6 inch Harley baffle.
