Hi all, I'm new to the forum...

I'm just getting into road riding after doing quite a bit of trail riding and the like. I've been looking through trade-me and the name BENICE keeps popping up for what looks like a reasonable price, considering they say it stacks up with alpine stars and other good brands.

Has anyone had experience with this brand? is it good or bad basically...

Cheers

Never heard of them before today. They're a NZ owned importer of a variety of different kinds of gear, a search on KB (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/search.php?searchid=7901449) shows one guy bought a jacket and was happy with it.

1Tonne (http://www.1tonne.co.nz/index.php) has the same business model (and prices) but exclusively sells motorcycle gear and has lots of customers on KB (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/search.php?searchid=7901453). They also have better TradeMe feedback (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Feedback.aspx?member=2161137).

I have a benice jacket. Its very good quality. I had to order a couple of sizes larger and then get the waist reduced due to my long arms. I have this issue with all leather jackets.
