Forgot I had an account here, lol.
Last time I was here, was back in 05 with my re-entry to biking Kawasaki Kr 150. Moved on finally finished my licence after 20 years, haha. The Kr gave way to three different 250 VTR's, A near mint 1988 CBR 750 than an unmarked but modified 2001 GSX1200 Y(inazuma).
Due to a badly smashed knee and the piss poor chassis / suspension set up I dumped the GSX back in Feb. Replaced the GSX with a black 98 Suzuki VL1500 intruder in mint condition. Blinged it out with full screen, tonnes of chrome, mustang seats, saddle bags the whole nine yards. Finished off with a stage three jet kit and K&N wide mouth filter to match the loud Cobra pipes. One very fine bike to get about on that looked good, sounded great and pulled like a train. My wife and I toured, tripped and went everywhere on it. If ya want it, it's now sitting in New Plymouth Motorcycles.
My wife secretly traded it as a wedding anniversary present for us on a 2005 Kawasaki 2000cc Vulcan with 42K on the clock and it's fully tricked out with everything. Picked it up today from the bike shop, whoa what a machine, absolutely stonking!!!!! Sooo much power, rides like a dream, sounds like deep rolling thunder and feck is it biiig in every way, just the thing for us.
Good to be back on the KB site, Cheers, A Dub-ya
