Suzuki RG150 1998
Had this bike for 2 years. Prior to this it was a successful race bike (Ridden by Billy). My son uses the bike for track days. He’s just got a bigger bike so its time to let this one go.
Great looking bike. Goes really well. BT039 tyres fitted. Only run on fully synthetic oil. Recent new Suzuki piston and rigs fitted. Barrel is good.
The bike started with us as a RG125 which was a great bike right up to the second the engine blew. :( . So we purchased a RG150 with low miles and swapped the better wheels, front suspension, brakes and bodywork on to it from the RG125. Technically therefore, this bike is not Streetstock race-legal as it stands. It’s just the set up we wanted for track days.
However, if racing is your thing, it can be made race legal with the parts I supply. You have two choices here:
Fit the front end (fork, wheel and brake supplied) from the RG150 to race it as a RG150. Will require clip ons to fit this fairing.
Fit the piston and barrel from the RG125 to race as a RG125 (supplied)
Supplied with this bike I will include the following:
RG125 frame with rear suspension.
RG125 Barrel with 2 pistons.
2 RG125 CDI units.
RG125 road Bodywork (bit tatty).
RG150 Carb.
RG150 wheels with BT039 tyres.
RG150 forks (needs seal fitted which are supplied.
Plugs, pads, seals...
Bunch of other parts...
Technically, there is the making of two complete bikes here. We need the garage space so it all has to go.
Perfect bike for a young lad/lass to start racing or track day riding.
PM me with any questions.
