Wondering if there would be much interest in some old bikes for sale. Haven't really decided yet but I'm not riding them much now.
The ones I would be likely to offer first are a '47 M20, couple of B31 '49 '51, G80 '55 i think.

Not at this stage as alot are in storage and need pulling out, cleaning, preparing and all that...
If there is a particular bike you want let me know. I don't really want to advertise on TM as there are too many timewasters etc out there.
I figured I would target enthusiasts who know what they want and have the knowledge about what they are buying rather than people who fancy an old bike but not sure what one.

I'd be keen if either B31 was a rigid or the G80 was a 54 (before the speedo went to the headlight) or any of them if they are of a reasonable price and not what appears on TM....

we also youst to get around in a 39 ford coupe..

The rg250 is an 84 model from memory. Not restored but running. I have to do some work tuning carbs, making a cable or two, bits and bobs. Has a broken indicator in (full)fairing as well as a couple of small cracks kind of patched up. Has been deregistered, have plate/previous owner details. Screen is not very clear anymore. Original paint/stickers. Whats it worth?

Bad condition $500. So anything above that. If I were to hedge a bet - I think you could get a grand easy if its still original stickers etc.

Yeah there's a few around for sure. My neighbour has one that was given to him although he doesn't have a clue what to do with it when it comes to riding or fixing. Just in his shed for years rusting away. I'm sure he only wants it for bragging value.

Yer cant really remember what this bike was but was eather a 250 or 175 but was 2smoke with the 3 speed on the lever on the left hand side of the tank from memory.
Belonged to my bosses father (gone now) and he said if I restored it he would give me something for it but he was a tightwad so new I wouldn't get squat.
I did get it going though and it would do over 50 miles an hour down the shingle road:msn-wink:no brakes though:laugh:
