Hi all

Thought I would introduce myself to all KBers. I only joined up with KB last week as a result of a good friend and fellow KBer being tragically killed. I am also a member of Ulysses. I have a Yamaha 250 Virago but haven't ridden it much as nerves often get the better of me. :violin: . I know only to well that the cages are out to get you!! I am still on my learner's licence at present. Have been a pillion passenger with my hubbie for 9 years and enjoy getting out on the bike heaps!!! :ride:

I have already met some KBers and hope to meet up with some more of you as time goes by.

Take care out there please

Hi Scorpygirl, welcome to KB!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the madhouse.

Thanks for the welcome. No worries about the madhouse!!! We call our small home Chaos Castle!!! We live with a Maroon-Bellied Conure (small parrot) who feather plucks (AKA Naked as a Jay-Bird - The Streak) and two budgies that keep having domestics. What can I say!!!

Thanks Crashe

It might take me just a bit of time after last week. I will get there though. The V is a great bike and I feel really comfortable on it but I just need to get more confidence on the big road. :ride:

Hey Scopygirl, welcome aboard!

Always great to have another Virago fan here - we're a small but select group! Good luck building your confidence on the road - it's not easy sometimes, but persevere.

Hope you enjoy your time here - it's a great place to chill out and waste some time!

Best thing for the nerves is just getting back in the saddle. I'm a nurse and at times get to see the after effects of a bike MVA. Does not stop me riding my Honda home...

...... none of my business, but just get back on
if you don't confront yourself and make yourself get back on, you may never get back on ....... there'll always be good-sounding reasons not to - have seen it happen
