Hi guys,
Posting on behalf of a mate, he cant list as he doesn't have enough posts.
Known this bike the whole time he has owned it and can vouch for it.
Selling my bike as its time to upgrade before the summer price explosion
57,000km, freshly Wof'd (expires February 2014) and Reg'd until September)
From Trademe
For sale is my 1992 Honda VFR400RR NC30. This is my first bike which I have owned for the last 4 years. She has been my pride and joy and I have fallen in love with her power and feel.
VFRs are known for some of their distinctive features, the camchain whine, single-sided swingarm, 18" rear wheel, V4 engine (and associated power delivery) and NC30s were the best handling bikes of their time. These bikes are definitely an enthusiast’s choice. With all that being said it’s time for a big boys bike.
I've owned this bike since 43000kms and it has been a mixed use bike, weekend rides, tours around the North Island and commuting to uni. The only issue I've ever had is starting her when she hasn't been ridden much. Although on the daily commute she would start first pop. (Have a new rectifier on its way and will come with new battery, good to go for the new owner)
Bike has aftermarket rearsets, smoked visor and wing mirrors. Has factory Honda exhaust and OEM tool kit.
Currently has a set of Dunlops purchased last year (Q2 dual compound on the front and GPR200 on the rear) with about 70% tread left.
Shocks, hoses, chain, levers, and levels are in good condition. Serviced with Castrol oil and parts always purchased from David Silver Spares in the UK
Lighter fibreglass fairings which could do with a touch up
New WOF, expires 19 February 2014. Rego until 2 September 2013
Has a box of bits to go with
air filter
oil filter (genuine Honda),
new brake pads front and rear (Honda)
speedo cable (Honda)
spare fluids
Haynes Manual
