Chatto Creek 1000 miler

The famous Chatto Creek 1000 miler is on again. 1000 miles (1632 km) of the South Islands most scenic roads. Entry fee includes a late night hot supper while on the ride, and a cooked breakfast at the Chatto Creek Tavern when you finish. This is now the only 1000 mile 24 hr rally still running in New Zealand

Keep free the first week end in December.

Unfortunately I have had to cancel this year’s 1000 miler. The route I had planned was to come through Haast Pass in the early hours of Sunday morning. However the work on the slip at Dianna falls means the road will be closed each night. It is too late at this stage to re-route the ride.
