Moin moin? :) It's the german(northern part) word for hi/hello/(G'day)..

I just want to introduce myself again, just some words.

My Name is Thomas, 22years old and I'm going to NZL on 28th of September. At first only one year (Work&Travel), maybe longer.. Who knows? :)

I already got a bike, bought in Auckland. It's a BMW R 1200 GS (vintage 2007). I dont want to be like every backpacker, because of that I bought a bike. Of course I had to work sometimes, but my Intention is to get to know some "real Kiwis".. ;)
So I'm looking for some guys, who want to go out for a ride with me, showing me some nice places & routes.

If you need some "helping hands" in your garden or wherever, i would be happy to help... :2thumbsup

Almost forget to ask: is there a Website, where nearly every bike Meeting(+rides) in NZL is listed, maybe some Rallys(no races)?

Depending on timing we can likely show you around wellington or wairarapa if you get down here. However please be warned I'm old and the worlds most boring man... I'd head up northland way first..

Moin moin Paul, ( I`m german as well, living in Arrowtown/Queenstown) the most interesting Rally will be the Burt Munro Challenge: 28 November - 1 December, 2013 in Invercargill, South island. If you want to do the most stunning roads, go for a new published book, " Twisting Throttle by Mike Hyde.
I just got a signed copy last week, it`s the best you can do on two wheels.
Let me know when you are in Otago, maybe we can organise a Wakatipu Motorcycle club ride.
See you soon.

I was wondering why someone would be asking about Moin Moin Wiki (http://moinmo.in/) here. All is clear now.

Gidday.
