Congrats to Counties Manukau lifting the shield for the ist time ever,great game and nice to watch some history made.:2thumbsupWell chuffed for Tana Umaga,real battler and no doubt very proud tonight.

Best result anyone could wish for ... sooner or later Auckland or Canterbury will lock it all up for a few years though! Then it's boring again! :facepalm:

Counties retained the shield on Saturday, in front of over 12,000 people at Pukekohe, awesome to see the fans that the shield brings out,
now on to neighbors and Chief's partners Waikato, hopefully bring in an even bigger crowd

Yeah right ... there was a pretty small crowd at the game when Waikato lost the shield to Otago! :mellow: Served them right, has been interesting since then! :niceone:
