Hi Guys we have an enduro meeting this weekend at Kartsport Wellington Sunday the 15th. As the pit lane is used during this meeting we won't be able to use the pit lane so please pit in the middle to the asphalt area.

Format is 1 x tuning run 2 x heats 1 x 30min for B grade and the same format for A grade

1 x pit stop has to be made. When rider enters pit lane the motor must by switched off by the start of the concrete pit area, rider is to dismounts the bike and walks it along pit lane to the next set of cones were he or she can start the bike again and exit pit lane on the track entry concrete chute on the right side of the main straight.

Ok boys and girls you have the info see you there.

Fishie

Sounds good. Are we doing this enduro solo or in pairs again?

Better hurry & put bike back together tonight.30min race. Would it work to strip it down and rebuild it four times in advance, to get that sort of reliability?

My bike you have to make all the parts so yeah nah as they say. Anyway it's back together mostly.

Still wondering if this can be a tag team event (ie...two riders who swap at the pitstop?).

Regan would like to know, as he would team up with someone if that was the case!

Cheers.

You palmy boys are a bit on the soft side aren't you? Half hour to rider change is standard in the two hour. Hour if you are serious.

Any Reports? Sorry I didn't make it. Didn't have the bike sorted in time and had children to run around after.

When it finally cleared up it was quite nice. Fishy was Magnificent & did the whole race in control & clearly with more stamina than everyone else having pitted for his 'stop' after one lap to get it out of the way.

I piked out after 10 min as I was treating it as a testing run for the BoB next month.

I really enjoyed the B grade enduro. Mike managed to drop my bike during the transfer  We had far more riders in B than A in the enduro which made it more entertaining. A grade ended up having only three riders towards the end, but it was still entertaining watching Fish give a masterclass in how to put a bike around Kaitoke fast, lap after lap. Figgin cold start to the day though.

Yeah, My own dumb fault.

I've rebuilt it with a 2nd hand piston (And a LOT of cleaning work) but will put in a new one shortly. (Should be in at TSS today)
I need to revisit my ignition setup, I've also machined the head to be a bit more conservative as the compression was a bit on the high side given I'm just using pump petrol.

Saw you in the kartsport pics on both Helen's bike and Adrian's,did you tag them the half hour? Or we're you just out playing?

Thought you were solid on your choice of ign?

This probably won't sell, maybe make him a cheeky offer

14:1 should be fine on pump gas. Are you higher than that??

Had a hoot of a day; so good to be back riding again.
Slight point of difference riding a four stroke bucket for the first time.

Nice to finish a few races; and a wee lay down...

Some great photo care of Jessica van der Merwe via the NZM4R Facebook page.

Will have to check that link later, no TM at work.
I was at 13.2:1 so should have been OK.
I had to make a cut anyway because the squish band was wrong, it was tighter on the inside circumference so that may not have helped.

My ignition depends on what I can get cheap, I expect I will need to run with the current hardware for now but may be able to swap electrickle bits to get a better setup.

My main issue is the way I have been setting it it, there is no keyway location at the moment so I need to do some work to get a positive location and thus consistenet and accurate timing settings.
