Yes back to PR3's Al...Interesting that C/Treads can supply/fit $190 cheaper than the local shop...
For me personally, they do not hugely out perform my preferred tyre. in saying that, they are a good tyre, just not for me.

For you Kim...$200 and I'll throw in the tyres FREE.

I hear ya, I've gone back to PP3s after my S20s, I liked the grip but they wore out too quickly.

A wise man once said and another wise man recently said ''if your tyres don't suit you, get rid of them''.

I am having Pilot Road 3's fitted..a PR3B (Strengthened sidewalls) for the rear and PR3 for the front bit. (not Pilot Power)
But as both you and Al have mentioned, it comes down to preference and what suits the rider.

$550 fitted.... I am happy with that...
Must be their standard quote, it cost me the same amount when I got the T30's, which are a cheaper tyre than what I am opting for.

As per above post, I can drop these tyres off within the Auckland area (for extra fuel money depending on distance) if needs be?
Free drop off if north of the City.
Now looking at Saturday the 28th

If these don't sell this week, the tyres will be brought home and can be collected from here.

If I buy them, could you get Cycletreads to send them to Dunedin at my cost?

What I will do is have them changed, get them back here (home) and get a price from a Courier to get then to Dunedin, so $200 + postage?
Them we'll sort everything via pm.

Sounds good. Post should be around $30 going by how much car tyres from up there cost to ship. Not sure who through tho. Possibly mainfreight?

New tyres went on this morning...damn that wind is crazy mad gusty as!! Was raining in the city when I left to come home but I was riding away from it thank god, wind/rain combo is an arse...

Good luck with that. If its not moved today to Dunedin I would be surprised if it will hit before next weekend if its not on early tomorrow.
