I have a fa50 that has come out of storage
fuel tap is vacuum activated, 3 settings, run, reserve, prime, no off.
on prime it feeds fuel to carb continuiusly so it is running out the drain tap
on run/ reserve it isnt feeding the carb so it stalls after 200-300m

I tried succing on the petcock's vacuum hose but no fuel comes out the fuel line, indicating the diaphrame is broken

Anyone got a working fa50 petcock I can buy? or a tip to repair this

Kawasaki used the same setup in the 80's. The fuel tap on my Suzuki's and Kawasaki's are swappable.
If the fuel pours out of the carb overflow you also have a problem with the float needle. You should be able to turn it to prime and the float needle should shut the fuel off.

If it ain't smokin' - it's broken.
