No Joke, This bike has just ticked over 720000KM's!!!!
It was posted elsewhere and thought other bikers would interested. Not often a Japper gets this mileage, usually the reserve of BMW's. This bike is located in japan.
The site is all in Japanese, but the pictures do it justice. Ya need to have a good poke about carefully to get the gist of the setup, worth it though.
Best of all it is the 'getting rare' and not often seen Honda CBR 750 with those magic gear driven cams, the RC27 motor, not the the common as cake clattery cam chained CBR 1000.
According to his website, his CBR history is as follows.
1989 Nov He bought the CBR with 3650km oddmeter reading. This CBR is second one for him. The first CBR was stolen.
2004 May 400,000km
2007 Jul 500,000km
2010 Aug 600,000km
2013 Feb 700,000km
2013 Jul 720,000km
So basically 100,000km / 3 years. It means 33333km/year. This means 2800km/month.
