Hey just moved to Papamoa, just seeing what the bucket scene is like here, anyone I can get hold of or is there bucket club in Tauranga. Is there any groups closer, Te puke Ive ridden there before and just heard maybe Whakatane would be good to, more the merrier.

There is nothing in Taurang, yet.
Maybe get a bucnch of mate together and get something started?

Until then your best bet would be the North Island Rounds, Taumaranui, Tokaroa, Te Puke etc...

There may also be something at Edgecume again sometime.

The closest regular meetings at the moment are in Auckland at Mount Wellington, do get up there if you can as it's a cool scene.

You might want to talk to agman on here, he is just getting into buckets and is from Tauranga so has the same problem with no local race meets. Best case scenario is you get something going down there, Te puke or Edgcumbe would be your closest local tracks. Worst case is you can possibly get together on travel expenses to get to the AK or NI rounds.

Hey Jarrad, good to know there is another local bucketeer . As has already been said, Auckland is the best bet for a regular once a month ride. However, once daylight savings kicks off we are hoping to run vaguely regular play/race days ( and evenings ) at the Edgecumbe kart track.
I know Agman is super keen after his trip to Aucks on the weekend to get his new bike on track and get into some racing.

Will put posts up when more info/dates are to hand

Cheers, Ken
