Gee thats a tad expensive for a childs helmet...
When one can buy a full face helmet for as low as $150 and sometimes even lower than that.
My helmet is size 52 CMS which is XS.

yeah - a kids head is definately not worth THAT much.
motostar do a glass fibre one - lots of BMX kids use them. i'll find our supplier's name and let you know

Motomail had kids sized helmets - they had a smaller shell.
I know, because the vifferbabe has a small head, and we looked at whether a kids helmet would fit better.

Hell, I only take a 51cm so this kid must have a BIG head! Hell, a bike helmet would be fine, it's not like a kid of that age has anything much in its head to damage!

... are you SERIOUSLY considering putting a used helmet on your son?
if you can't afford to protect your boy, why are you considering taking him on your bike?
jesus man.

Yeah - to put it in context... we live on a dead end road and I want to get him on the back of the bike (which he's now JUST big enough to do), and have him learn to ride as a pillion. I'm not going out on the open road and I'm not full of faith he's going to look after the helmet, so I want summat that'll teach him those things before we get the real deal and go riding.
I'm talking 40 or 50 kph on an empty road
Badcat - I hear what you're saying - and agree!

No worries - I'm that way inclined too (nannerism... not "playing for the same teamism"...)
