Tried searching for threads on this but didn't have any luck so hopefully I am not repeating a question.

Wanting to know what sort of power a set of tyre warmers draw? I am looking to get myself a generator this season and would prefer to get one that can run 2 sets.

The warmers I have don't have any information about their power rating on them and I have also looked on the manufacturers website without any luck.

Thanks in advance for your help ;)

Different warmers draw different amounts, you'll notice the better the warmer the more they will INITIALLY draw, the warmer the warmer becomes the less they draw....ha. A good ball park amount is 800watts in generator speak, for a set. I actually measured mine and that was about bang on apon start up, 350 for the front and 450 for the rear. For 2 sets I would go for one that can continually handle 1800watts. 2000 would be a good buffer.

Cool man cheers. I can get a 4 stroke 2500w generator for a good price so after what you have said that will do the job nicely. :headbang:

2500 should be perfect. One thing I would say is that.... it's nice if it is a quiet one. Yamaha and Honda make some nice 2000w units that are very quiet. Having said that.... I got a cheapo one and it is loud.... so ya know, I speak from experience. :D ..... but am being a bit of a hypocrite.
