It is coming up to that time of the year again. Our Tuesday night rides start 1 October. Rides meet at 6pm depart at 6.30pm.

I will be a regular at least in the first half... not sure about the second half. My bike has started to blow fuses and TSS have said they don't know what's causing it. Am carrying spare fuses but it breaks down randomly.

That was a very enjoyable ride, fantastic views.
Hope the Upper valleys one next week is as enjoyable.

Hey guys,

Assume these rides are back in full force now we've entered 2014? Did the one last Tuesday go ahead?

Am thinking of tagging along for the ride now i've got some wheels again.

I'm still getting used to the new bike so some safe slow rides are exactly what i'm looking for.

Hunting was a bit quiet, retired a few goats only saw one deer but it was at the bottom of a very steep gully and we could have shot it but getting it back up would have been a difficult job.

Attended the ride meet up point at Avalon this evening and joined the ride for part of the route.

Was good to once again observe pre-ride preparation and ride briefing. The ride proceeded in a very good manner, with due regard to traffic conditions and staggered formation.

I would recommend this regular riding event to any motorcyclist that wants to enjoy a pleasant evening ride during the week.

I have a colleagues son who has just started riding ad I insisted he head along to a few of these rides before they finish. Are the ride meet points listed anywhere other than Kiwibiker so I can point him in the right direction?
