They are all good for information but not great as social sites.

Idd rate them 6 out of 10 and rate KB 8+

Anyone else have forums on the side and what are they like?
This is an interesting bike forum site. A lot of safe riding advice.

KB is a toilet which I use between visits to GSResources (an infinitely superior bike and community site in all healthy respects) and a few non bike related forums (only one of which has topical content). I also used to hang in social forums that are sewers by comparison to this middle of the road social crapper. I only come here to piss and shit. HTH

Gixxer.com is good for those niggly problems that GSXR's have.. otherwise it KB and arse book... plus Gameplanet Forums when my Battlefield is not going as it should be

You've had some pissing matches on the GSresources too, mate....

A lot of the yank sites are aimed at just too basic a level to interest me. The best and most interesting site i visit is the Laverda Forum. A lot of serious engineering knowledge there. Too much Aussie content and sheep jokes but it's aimed at the older person in the main.
At least one yank forum I used to belong to regarded prayer as a legitimate repair method....

Currently use diavel-forum.com and apriliaforum.com but have been a member of the KTM Superduke,Gixxer, ZX10 and a few more.

Favorite is the American Triumph Rat net,very good tech info and not a bad social side.
Mostly American of course,but also a few Aussies,a few Kiwi's,a few euro's,and most everybody takes an gives a little bit of lip without it getting serious.

KB is the other one.

I spend time on either of the 2 TL forums though not so much lately as i am done buying stuff the problem being every time you call in there some clever bugger has made another "must have" bit,thats about it really i reckon KBs about as close as i will ever come to Facebook or whatever its called.

I'm a member of kawiforums and ninjette.org but haven't been on since I sold the ninja, frequent lurker on bikeme and advrider and occasionally jump on skeptic society and animeforums if I'm stoned and wanna either talk shit or find a new cartoon to watch. There are a few others I occasionally use for info on different things but KB seems to be by far the most entertaining of all the forums I come across

Only ever look in other forums, when I am after technical info on a bike I'm working on. But even then, I google the subject and choose what looks best from what shows up.

It's helped twice on the sidecar for us, this place would have been hopeless.

I use GIXXER.com but 98% of posters are muppets.2% really know their stuff and are very helpful. Thumpertalk for the DRZ....very knowledgeable. Bandit.com for the gsx-a bit low level. Kb is ok for knowledge at times, but is tame and too pc compared with a few years ago imho. Still good for the occasional shit fight!

i either am now, or have been, an active member on a forum specific to what ever bike I owed at the time. I tend to post more here though I think.

Advrider for the sheer volume of knowledge and custom bike mods and the killboy fail thread and for some epic shitfights

f650.uk as it has the most 650CS owners and info

Its all much easier now than trying to find triumph parts and info 20 years ago
