Thinking of getting myself small trail bike for general commuting/playing around on gravel roads etc (nothing too serious) I have ridden an NXR125 a few years back and think it would be up for the job.

However honda have replaced it with this XR125 duster that is essentially set up to be a farm bike in NZ.
First off how easy is it to remove all the farming crap off it? (ie handguards etc) also would the sprocket off an NXR fit? I understand that the default sprocket is 12/51 in farmer mode but the old NXR was 17/54 (makes doing 100kph possible)

Looking at taking off the standard tires as well (rear 110/90 17 and front 90/90 19) any decent tires in this range (was looking at some pirelli MT-60s)

Be ok on the trails... could be a tad on the slow side getting anywhere on the seal...
my brother bought a new DR125Z back in about 82... that little thing could go anywhere..

If sheep can do wheelies on one, then they must be easy to ride.:Punk:
