Last year was a blast & was very well run, the fact that it was free for Kawasaki's was just a bonus.

Wasn't it in the mid tens?
I did an 11.8 a few weeks back at the Drag For a Cure event. Gonna aim for an 11.4 ... or blow it up trying!

looks like it was a 10.98 so only just a 10.
Hopefully now that i am geared slightly shorter and have a working quickshifter, assuming i dont crash or splode my engine i can get a mid 10.

I heard today that there might be a couple of dirty old smokers making an appearance with one at least having not drag raced since the '70s.

Brake fluid either boiled over today or I suffed some sort of extreme brake fade followed by a sudden lock up.
Been over the video a few times and can't figure out what went wrong. Bike is in good shape apart from the plastics. I rode it home.

Yeah plastics damage, usual low slide stuff. Came off at 180kph and didn't even bust any covers off.
You will be lucky if I post that footage up here mate hahaha.

I came off on the back straight of Manfeild braking in the wet. Was the only race the go pro wasn't on the bike. I would have posted that:oi-grr:

Yeah Kev,
She made it home no sweat. Felt like a slow ride though after going so fast all day. I will assess the damages tomorrow but it all looks ok and she still rides the same.

Na left the Z1000 cosy in the pits. Was a good event to watch. I'll get on the track next year (with new front rotors and pads). Still working on getting the bike how I want it, running low on $ and time lately.

Its crazy how low the trap speeds are of the two fastest riders, there are others .3s slower with 10mph faster traps, must have been getting an awesome launch on those bikes.

this must include those first two or three runs when the timing was faulty. There's no way my 97 Fireblade did a 10.430 at 148mph!
