A mate of mine rides, and lives in New York. Apparently, local news was a bit different. After the SUV bumped the dickehad in front, somebody popped a knife out and started to slash the SUVs tyres. Which is why he pulled gapped it, and also why he didn't stay on the motorway.

However what that article does now back up is that the initial collision was to the bike that brake checked a 2.5t 4x4 that could have possibly had bikes right on its tailgate. Sure it's terrible to see someone severely hurt but the behaviour shown in the multiple videos posted of that ride, I'm honestly surprised that fewer riders/pedestrians/road users were not hurt. Play with fire expect to get burnt. Hopefully these guys will learn that intimidating other road users, blocking intersections with no legal right, running red lights and riding on footpaths will end in tears. Like many have said, lucky this ride didn't occur in Texas or Florida, someone would've been eating lead.

I tried to watch the liveleak videos that were supposed to be from before the incident. I just switched off after seeing some guy split through two lanes of oncoming traffic before joining his mates splitting through the same-direction traffic (and nearly collecting one of them). Just numb nuts. The ones riding like that needed a good swift legal kick in the arse. The ones not riding like that should have just been elsewhere.

As far as I can see, some poor guy with his Wife and Kid got swarmed by a bunch of arseholes. One of them manufactured an incident (What did he want? The Rover to pull over and let the bikes own the road or something? What was that brake check for?). So the guy in the Rover ends up panicking and doing what he felt he had to - try get away from the mob. And the mob then proceeded to do what mobs do.

The idea that just because the riders were riders, so should get unconditional support from any other riders, is just stupid. That's an echo of the mob behaviour that caused the trouble in the first place (a mob of riders riding like dicks and intimidating drivers). I have sympathy for any rider hurt in the events, but I sure as heck don't "blame" the Rover driver for it all.


(When I lived in Fiji I was strongly recommended: if I ran over someone while driving through some village - don't stop ... just drive to the nearest police station. The idea was to avoid mob vengeance. These riders may have been in New York, but they were acting like savages before and after the incident.)

from watching those vids, those guys are riding around like a pack of retards with no consideration for anyone else at all...even riding along on footpaths at times. I have no sympathy for the cunts that got nailed. You brake check a F'n SUV on a motorbike...what do you think will happen? (never mind the vids I have seen show the SUV driver just minding his own business when that stupid cunt on the sportsbike decides to play silly buggers). If I had my wife and young child in the car, I would have done exactly the same as that guy did. Pack mentality being what it is, you just know that he was out to fight a losing battle. According to some of the comments on that Facebook page it's all part of a coordinated method of scamming money.

They pick out a vehicle driven by someone who looks like they have money, one bike moves into position to be shunted by the car, then the rest gather around and try to intimidate the driver for money.

Sounds like they got what they deserved.

yeah this is not the sort of publicity that is useful. I did note what appear to be the classic 1% four part patches on some (not all) jackets too. they had the "wrong" bikes for that though. Might just be SOA wannabe style stuff.

That's what would really be fucking me off if I lived in New York. At least when a patched Mongrel Mob member on a Harley does something needlessly aggressive the motorcycle is a secondary association for anyone who isn't retarded.

If you watch some of the other videos from this ride it's obvious that there was a massive shit tonne of bikes of every size, shape and colour out that day. In the RR bashing video it looks like 100% of the riders nearby were enabling and supporting the actions of the cunts that deserved to get run over. Not a good look.

1 - The SUV and the bikers were all driving / riding on the worng side of the road. Just look at all the other road users who had to get out of their way...??
2 - They ALL went off at an 'ON' ramp, and

This is not rare by any means, the only reason this incident got any attention is because of the helmet cam video being posted on the net. If you see anyone in this situation, call the police. Make no mistake confusing these punks with true bikers. You will rarely if ever see a member of these gangs on a Harley. Do not for a minute blame true bikers for this kind of behavior. Bikers like those involved in the 2 million Bikers to DC Rally are American Patriots and would be among the first to come to your aid. A final note, always be aware of motorcycles and share the road. Check your mirrors and don't ride anyone's bumper, motorcycles have a much smaller profile then a car and are harder to see........................................

If you look at the body language of the bikers it starts to make sense.

I wonder how many bikers there were taken out by their biker buddies, I mean the riding was so bad some of them must of hit each other.

I did notice in on of the other videos of their rides another rider punching the shit out of a car driver through the window, you might think this sort of behaviour is not uncommon on their rides.

I normally stay away from threads like this, but, I watched a bit of stupid vision earlier today, and there was an interview with the wife of one of the injured bikers. Apparently he will never walk again. I am very glad I was not interviewing her. I doubt I could have held back really. These particular members of the biker fraternity, and those like them, are why so many of us have to be extra vigilant when out riding. WTF gives any (biker) road user the right to behave like they did/do?
