I have a 2006 Model Suzuki GN250. It has been off the road for about 8 months while I was away at sea and I have just put it back on the road. It started up fine and has been running fine for a number of weeks. Now however it has started cutting out after heating up and going to idle. Normally happens after going 100k for a while. I can't get it restarted for quite a while until it (maybe) cools abit. A mate suggested it could be a problem with the carb but thought I would get other people opinions as well. Also the Regulator had been replaced recently before I took it off the road (don't think its related but you never know).

Dismantle the fuel cap and clean the tank vent.
