hi guys im a newbie on here so im not sure if this goes here anyways iv jus gt a 92 bandit 400 the bike wouldnt turn so i checkd the wireing and found the problem anyway its turning over nw bt dosnt seem to kick ova iv changed sparkys and checkd gas filter i sprayed sum engine starter in the carbs and it will kick ova and idle for less then a minute then cuts out
if anyone could help plz

Taken the carbs out and cleaned them? and checked the floats and jets they can get blocked or stuck and cause the issue

cheers bro yup gave them a good clean out and solved tha prob bt nw it seems my throttle cable a bit sticky nw bt atleast its idling good nw

spray lots of crc or wd40 down the throttle cable also checkto see if the throttle grip is binding on somthing

That will work to free it up ...
Better .. remove cable, use plasticine to mould a smal funnel around the outer part of the cable, hang up the cable by the nipple, fill funnel with light oil and leave it fir a while ... refill as reaquired ... when the oil runs out the bottom put the cable back on the bike ...
(sounds like you're discovering the joys of buyig an older, used motorcycle that might not have run for a while ... expect a few more things to crop up ...)
