View Full Version : Any Dargaville members?

Continuing my bike transport saga, I've finally managed to arrange transport from Dargaville to Dunedin.

However, the seller is located out of Dargaville and the transport company is using another freight company (Toll) to get it from Dargaville to Auckland. This makes for a crap load of arrangements since there are 4 parties involved, all in different locations.

So to make things a LITTLE bit simpler, I wanted to see if there is anyone in Dargaville who is willing to help by homing the bike for a few days.

The idea being, the seller drops it off in Dargaville asap. The freight company can then pickup the bike from a fixed address as opposed to arranging a meet. And I don't have to worry about the bike being in a limbo (at least I'll know where it's at). And the seller doesn't have to worry about getting to Dargaville on a short notice in the middle of the day.

Any takers? Reward is a round of beer if you ever come down south. Maybe there's even a small "mystery" gift involved (probably just jb/supercheap voucher ).

Thanks for the offer mate. But the seller is closer to Dargaville. Else I would've asked him to just drop it off at the Toll depot in Whangarei.

I'm not opposed to the idea. The bike is a runner, but no wof or rego. Might not be worth the risk.

Looking into your offer as a backup plan. PM sent.

Due to the condition of the bike (not been used a lot past few years), drop off is still the best option. Who would've thought it's so hard to find bikers in Dargaville. I thought up north it was sunny and all :woohoo:

anyway. dargaville is a thriving metropolis.
maybe teh government should sell it as an asset, to the chinese, because we're not in debt enough to the chinese. and if theres anything we've learned from america, it's that we should be in debt to the chineses.
