I call BS on this. You need a council permit to build anything 1m off the ground.

Also who are the table and chairs for?

According to council rules, I was not allowed to cut down a mountain beech tree that was wrecking my back wall. Luckily for me, there was nothing mentioned about me using the digger to pull it down. :msn-wink:

Naaaaaahhhhh!

If you've ever eaten an imported salami you'd know.

An Naaaaaaaaahhhhh is the right answer because they taste great.

You do not need a council permit/consent to construct a carport. It is not difficult to add smallish structures like a horse shelter & I wouldn't expect the council needs to be consulted about it. Just build it. Is this thread just bullshit?
