Anyone know how to reset the Victory Vision radio for NZ frequency spacing? The thing is set for North American spacing.

Yes, I Googled it. No good came of it.

Did you buy it from a dealer? Ask them if you did.

I was hoping for the magic answer. Calling a dealership about something like this usually ends badly.

Does it need a band expander like you do for Japanese radios?

Good call - the band expander is the likely answer - Popped one in a import years back $15 or something - all sorted.

That may be the solution. Looks easy to install if I can get all the plastic out of the way.

Was that you at the cape yesterday? You should have invited yourself along for the night. Shame on me for not saying more than HI... Sorry. We are in Warkworth, there is always a bed/shower/washing machine/decent feed available here for fellow bikers, specially ones from overseas

That was me taking up the whole parking lot with the Mondo-Vision.

Outside of Wellington there was a station bill board, 91.3! I could tune it. Anything ending in an odd number.

Band expanders are not the answer as the US and NZ FM bands are pretty much the same, the problem is that NZ support a channel separation of 100KHz and the in the US it is 200KHz. All of their channels end in an odd number and ours can be either. It would seem that most are even in NZ. So a NZ radio will work in the states but the other way around it a tad restricted.

You could go to somewhere like Repo and buy a local radio, I think I saw a mailer and they have some for about $80, don't know how hard it would be to swap into the bike though.
