After going out for a ride past Lake Ellesmere, I got hit by the inevitable swarms of insects that are commonplace around this time of year. A few days later, I noticed several maggot colonies forming where the insects hit. Just something random I thought I'd post up.

Fascinating. It's shocking how being a lazy prick and leaving something covered in dead anything can have those results.
I know if I leave a piece of dead cow to hang out on my couch for a week that never happens, I mean it starts talking to me in my dreams and levitating around the room, but maggots, pssssh

The maggots weren't laid on the dead bugs, they were inside when said bug exploded.

I pointed it out for the Tazz rooster. I read his statement to mean he didn't get it.

realise that but it could also be whitebait, they're still running aren't they; and are carnivorous and look very similar too...

SRAD is a versatile bike for sure. Dunno if I'd use it as a fishing boat though.

I'm not going to lie, until now I thought the stork dropped off baby maggots/larvae as well as children. All those years at the Christian school of biology and inappropriate fondling (potentially the same subject?) are apparently wasted =(
:bleh:
I don't think you actually get my statement ;) Exciting times.
