The annual 2-hour bucket race, at Mt. Wellington today, was the fastest ever. Great racing.

Thks :). Milford Sound is amazing. I hope to make it to Tokoroa - likely will. Camping out at the track makes for a great fun social get-together on Saturday night. It's a great track in a lovely spot.

You were fast on Saturday - pics to be uploaded, probably tonight :).

South Island is lovely :) We have to head down there again one day.

that was my first ride since sometime earlier this year, and the first time since last year I had fun. the two new girls did great, and hopefully will be back, as we sort of conned them into joining Mel and I. :)

Great to see more ladies on, and off, the track :). It is bound to help with male numbers, over time, if well publicised online :). All my photos can be freely used on Facebook, Google+, Flickr etc...).(For non-commercial purposes).

Henk told me there is a really good restaurant in Toke, stuffed if I can think what ethnicity, but thinking maybe Thai, so he has to take me there Friday night. I could ask him, but then might struggle to shut him up again, so will wait for his response here lol

Team meeting Sat, 4pm. Bring meat & drinks and any special shit if you don't eat normal man food.
GPR juniors are welcome.

We need to sort out travel to round 1. Friday sounds like a plan but will need to check if I can get away from work early....

Just take the home brew, its the only thing you will use.

(too easy, sucks to have a reputation doesn't it)

You ever seen Koba drunk when you were in a fit state to testify?

Short answer. No. Not quite what I was referring to.

I was more alluding to the fact that he will prob cart the bike all the way to tok, wreck a piston, and then just sit round drinking the home brew.

(man this thread has gone way off topic, is this 3 threads on Tok now?)

It's a cunning plan to try and lure you into abandoning the newborn for the weekend. Congrats by the way.

Around 2700 photos still uploading :).

This will have the Le Mans style practice starts for both the B-Grade Endurance Race (40 Laps) and the 2-hour F4 buckets. It will have the full 2-hour race photos followed by the 40-lapper.

I used two different cameras. Unfortunately one was not set for daylight saving time so some blocks of photos are 1-hour different to others :brick:

Looking forward to trying Koba's homebrew, if there is any left by Saturday evening. I used to make my own a few decades ago :). Mashed the grains at 66C for 2-hours, boiled with full dried hops for 1 hour, sparged, then fermented with a true cultured yeast from the dregs of real Guniness bottles - not the crap they sell now. Loved it :).

He left me with a couple of bottles last night, I'll try em tomorrow.

Can't make Tok but might find my way to Taumarunui.
