Just about to pull the pin on one of these puppies;

I spent 4 days touring around the Wairarapa a week or two ago with the wife onboard the trusty Triumph Tiger. we seem to be doing more and more touring on the bike these days and although the TIger is a fantastic bike (more sports orientated than the S10) the wife does get a bit of wind blast and a sore bum after about two hrs
One of our group (there was 12 of us all up) had hired one of these and we took him up on the offer of a day in the saddle.
What a bloody awesome mile munching tourer this is, really comfortable, lazy poweful motor, shaft drive (that didn't feel like shaft drive!), no sore bum for the Mrs and massive fuel range.
A little soft in the suspension stakes but nothing that cant be fixed.

So duly ordered with a set of Givi Trekker luggage and some heated grips.

Anyone else in KB land got one or has experience on one of these beasts?

I see one shop is offering ''In stock now, we are offering this fantastic bike with more than $3000 worth of free accessories including panniers, crash bars, bash plate etc.'' and with a 23 ltr tank, not surprised about the massive fuel range.

It must be fun living in or near a centre with a dealer that sells new Yamaha road bikes.

Yep, got an awesome deal with an Auckland dealer (thanks Nick) and got my prefered luggage option (Givi) in the deal too, oh and a good price for the Tiger ;)

Yamaha are promoting the same bike as a "world Crosser", basicly the same bike with some extras already fitted and some carbon fibre panels and 3k more.
I dont like the side boxes Yamaha sell with it, you can only get into them from the top and there is no handle to carry them so glad we could do a deal.
