User does not have permission to own Groups

I want to transfer moderator of a Social Group but when I enter the new Moderators name it comes up with
User does not have permission to own Groups

Whats the story?

Not sure if group ownership can be changed... but some details would help ;)

So you want to transfer ownership to Wolfrider??


Go to the BFTP home page
top right is a link that says Admin
choose Transfer Group
in the box that says transfer to user type in Wolfrider
hit go


you will no longer be responsible for the BFTP group.

Yes, thats what I did, tried again and same pop up. Hmmmm:facepalm:

The problem was with Wolfrider, he's only a lowly Registered member. Gave him a promotion. Hopefully he got a message that'll tell him what to do now.
