Did the unthinkable and SLOWLY dropped my GSXR11 in the garage on Sunday cracking the screen on my Kat.

Lucky no other damage other than a very small scrap.

Went to push it backwards and I had not lifted the bike vertical enough and the stand folded up and bingo down it went.
Not a good look yelling for the wife while trying to hold it from laying down completely...

Anyway.. could have be worse.

Where can I get a replacement smoky screen? what are the options?

I want it fixed asap so I don't have to look at the crack.
and guess what.. there is no picture!

first things first drill a small hole in the end of the crack to stop it spreading, wont fix it but it will mean it shouldn't get worserer in the meantime

Thanks and ordered.... in light Smokey.... $157 delivered.
What great people to deal with.

Jap original $900 and something... really, their women are cheaper to buy. OK might be the neighbours but heeee, :bleh:

I used Godiva for one couple years back for a 1200ss Suzi. Good product - found the light smoke very light and they swapped it for me for a darker one.

I like you have gone from the smoky one.
BUT I don't want it TOOO dark, nor to light.

Will be interesting.
When I get it I will post a picture. Or pix...? WTF.

Too late but there was a crowd that always used to advertise in the 90's yank mags they all ways had great looking coloured screens can't remember what they were called, was it zero gravity?

Had to remove such stuff before. 90s and the word 'bling' has a lot to answer for.

Mr F5, you asked these questions, just to see how f#cked up I actually am!

It would be like sending your 13yr old to school on a yellow chopper, with a yellow flag, a piece of plastic smacking against the spokes, that goes flap, flap, flap as you ride it like your step mother on a Friday night. Beads, sliding up and down.... on the spokes..!

There is RG news..!
