Yep, Sunday 12th January is our first event of the new year.
All 4 groups have space currently although group 3 is nearly full as I type.

Being conducted in the closed circuit enviroment at Hampton Downs under Motorcycle New Zealand permit #14491
4 Groups with a full syllabus and eager instructors to impart their knowledge.

Will there be a photographer this time? I believe there wasnt for the last one.

Hi,

Keen to book in for my first time on the track, just wondering how anal you guys are about noise levels. Says 95db on your website, I have an r6 with a gytr shorty pretty sure its loder than that. Do you reckon it would be algood???????

They do check, I run a Yoshi shorty that's a bit over the top so I took a butt plug out encase. Turns out the full race bikes are much more intense.

Being your first time on the track, I'm guessing this is a road bike. In theory, if you are able to get a WOF you should be ok. But that is assuming the WOF inspector is checking the exhaust ...

Secondly, being your first time on the track you may well fine you don't have the confidence to ride your bike hard enough to cause an issue. But then again, maybe you do ...


From memory, if you exceed the noise limit you'll initially be taken off the track (black flag) and given a warning to resolve the noise problem. If it happens a second time you'll be off the track for the rest of the day.
