Hey is there anyone out there who can help me out? I want to put a larger rear sprocket on the 999 but do you think I can find any dealer who may have a couple of spare links for a DID 525 HV chain. The whole setup is only 4000kms old so do not want to buy a new complete chain. And before anyone says anything it was the previous owner who replaced the drive with oem components....way too high geared.:(
Thanks in advance,
Nick.

sweet thanks for that
Well Hamish knows his stuff. Cannot buy any links etc for the HV chain and its side plates and pins are smaller. Its genuine OEM and of lower quality so pretty much toast unless I get a new chain. No one brings it into the country.

At times this is a case of an item only being available OEM and not through the "aftermarket" approved distributors. I know there are a number of RK chain models that are made specifically for the bike manufacturers and aren't available though any RK distributor anywhere in the world. I'd be almost 100% certain that be the case with DID also.
