Any one else enjoy the track after the rain on the weekend Mr Motorcycles ride :)

Was a bit disappointing when we were turned back after what sounded like a massive backlog one one of the hills.... I had spent most of the morning gaining my Daughter bike time on the family loop (she can't start the 250 yet so its a must to follow) and left the big loop for the afternoon when the track was supposed to be a bit clearer but the rain sort of turned that upside down.... But what I did was fun

The bike tractor-ed its way around pretty well.... I am not one for trying to get top speed and prefer a challenge and getting around bikes proved to be fun...or waiting and watching people slide down the hills superman style without their bikes.

I will be back next year even if it has rain in the forecast :D

You should have seen it even later in the afternoon, after even more rain, and after we had closed the main loop off early.
It was the stuff of nightmares, shiny white clay with rivers of water running down the rutted hills.
Even us marshals were struggling to get around to clean up the track markings afterwards. Took a while to get the 4wd mule with new tyres around too.

Despite having to close the track, there were no serious injuries and a only a few stragglers that required rescuing. I think around 500 riders.

Yup some very tired marshals..... and I did see a not so new looking 250 there too with bent bars broken levers etc :P

Wet enough to make the ride mostly slow so it must have help keep the injuries down

I was out when the second dumping hit .... track looked like creeks in spots :D

have been there in the wet before, an imagine it would have been a nightmare after that rain,
