Whilst he's no spring chook pretty sure he never rode malboro series, would have thought 88 Countrywide Series was the Trinder bros first visit.

To the organisers of the Suzuki Series held at Manfeild Park 15 Dec.

I witnessed an outrageous display following the completion of the second Formula 2 race. This race was well won by a foreign rider, a German I believe.
The behaviour that followed was simply unacceptable in this country.
This rider proceeded to celebrate his hard won victory with various expressions of joy; shouting, waving arms, standing up, wheelies and the like.
I believe that the organisers must point out to this rider that in this country we do not celebrate when we win a motorcycle race, even a hard won race.
It should be indicated to him to follow the example of virtually all the other race winners this day and that the acceptable procedure is to simply proceed back to the paddock with perhaps the merest wave of the hand to track workers and spectators alike.
The display put on by this fabulous German racer out here in this country to broaden his horizons and to perhaps put our sport in NZ into the consciousness of thousands of racers and race followers in Germany and Europe, was simply unacceptable.

Not far off though lol. That was about as exciting as I witnessed on CTAS. I only caught the second races in the arvo.
Struggling for 10 in each race, ( about 15 in 600 and SB.)
I hope Wanganui is better than that for the spectators, commentators told us they are going to have bigger fields there? :weep:

Isn't that "Muppet" the one and only James Stewart?? (Well they are several, but only one Bubba in AMA).

Well, as long as he waved to the track workers. We like being waved to

Not exciting?? You should have made the trip up. The racing was bloody brilliant, the weather great and a fantastic atmosphere in the pits. I doubt the cemetery will be anywhere near as good, with only being able to 5 secs of racing for each lap, their stinky toilets and limited food choices (though I hear they are trying to up their quality this year)

their stinky toilets each person running the Cemetery Circuit holds on for days just to ensure the toilets are made stinky as it certainly wouldn't be any of the spectators would it?

Indeed the view from the stand at Manfield is pretty good, but for the public, standing by the wire at the Cemetery Circuit and feeling the turbulence from the bikes wash over you as they roar past is pretty hard to beat.

Oh yeah, I thought the racing on Sunday was pretty exciting, 11 points seperate the top 3 !
