You need to undo the top lock nut on the shock, then loosen or tighten with c-spanner or screwdriver and hammer the other nut...

Dude strictly speaking its a nut but it s the big collar at the top of the spring on your shock A bit brutish but how I adjust them is to use a hammer and an old screwdriver to loosen off the locking nut then do the same to soften/harden up the spring--it doesnt seem to do much damage

on another note, take the bike into a mechanic and just ask them to check it out. I thought mine was too soft... if its way too soft its probably fucked like mine.

I dont have a C spanner, so it made it kind of hard.
I got the shop to do a quick test when they did the warrent, it just needs adjusting.
I tried hitting it with the screw driver and hammer, but it just ate into the metal. There seems to be alot of room for adjusting it, it just feels really soft.

The ZXR250' rear shock was notoriously shit, they lasted about 20thousand and died, how many Km's have you done?

Was told it was replace bout 7K ago.
They just didnt set it good atall.
Hace now adjusted it with CRC, a square drive screwdriver and a hammer with alot of pounding. Much harder now.
Thanks for the help
