You can own it for 2k. Some hard work may make it rideable one day. Feel free to email me if you want/need pics of how rooted it is.

Done. We have the tail section and rear seat cowl. Also the front of the tank era etc. It was all just removed to see wtf we were dealing with when we traded it. It has no real seat...just the rear seat hump.

Blimey, did it wash ashore somewhere? What did they have to buy to be able to trade that in?

Its got, um, potential.

Does it run?

It was left outside with a cover over it whilst he was over seas for a year. Came home...and funnily enough...the cover had blown off it!
Was running when it was parked up.
With plenty of time/steel wool work I think someone could have a cheapish hack about.

You wouldn't really want that on the premises any longer than it need be, would ya? I reckon you should tow it up to Doug's place for the holidays, get him to do his polishing gig on it.

Somewhere well out-of-sight I'd hope. Great first job for the new groomer too!

If I came down from Northland, could you put a fresh rego & wof on it so I could ride it back? :innocent:

Nah but that shit might be catchy. You don't want it spreading over all the stock

I don't understand how anyone could let a bike, let alone a nice one like a speed triple, get into a state like that.
Incredible.

I went to the Hobbit last night. Think I saw that in the giant Spider's nest.
Why the hell someone wouldn't at least spend an hour with a hose cleaning it up before trading it I don't know. Looks like a good project if the motor is sound.

Doesn't look that bad to me.
Someone with a few clues and some dosh to throw around could have a good road bike ready to tour on.
I have a smattering of clue, but feck all dosh.

All bullshit aside...if I'd had the spare dosh right now...I'd have owned it. Wasn't meant to be obviously.
