I GOT MY K3 IN BRONZE INSTEAD OF BLUE AND WHITE CAUSE I THOUGHT IT SUITED THE BIKE , AND I THINK THIS RED AND BLACK MAYBE ANOTHER WINNER

NAH THAT R6 IS JUST AVERAGE

It was a supporting argument for the one you made.

Too thick to pick up on it and you chucked an insult back because you're too much of a floating turd to ever, ever, consider being a pleasant human being.

May your short skirt pistons weld themselves to the liners of your common little Suzuki engine, you caps typing, bilious, excrement spewing, bottom feeding, anal fistula.

And no - the GSXR isn't sooooooo much better - at those powers and speeds - for the ordinary rider it all becomes academic anyway.

Suzuki will keep parts because there are so many in the country. I can only think of 1 part I had trouble getting and in the end I sourced it within 7 days from another MV dealer in Europe. Warrenties ?? A few parts were replaced on my f4 under warrenty. It was no drama and didn't cost me a cent so not sure what you on about there.

Winja, thats not at all pleasant. Jim2 offered a comment in good spirits yet you had to get on the defensive about it and resort to (yes again) calling people a Homo. I was beginning to think you may have had a decent persona but yet again you have proved me wrong. I have a lot of respect for Jim and whatever respect I have for you has dissipated.

Grow up and learn mate, insulting people aint gonna get you no where, and insulting the bikes people ride, now thats a different story all together. Learn some people skills mate. Im sure you can be a half decent guy in the flesh, but Im sure you dont want to meet people from KB who automatically think you are a prick from your comments that you make all the time.

It does look cool and it's better it's broken up with the black, the K5 in yellow is a fucken shocker, dont know what they where thinking, the blue/white always looks good, the all black one at haldanes is the bizzo.

THIS IS IT IN RED AND BLACK, FOR SALE AT THE MOMENT IN THE USA , AND HERE SOON I BELIEVE

we should be seeing the first ones before Xmas.. no price change as of yet but the strong Kiwi $ might bring it down a bit

from Suzuki.com (USA site) (http://www.suzukicycles.com/Products/GSXR1000K6/Features/Default.aspx)

Engine Features
998.6cc 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine for increased power, torque and acceleration - includes several features to reduce friction and reciprocating mass
Electronic fuel injection system features the Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve SystemTM (SDTV) - maintains optimum air velocity in the intake tract for smooth low-to-mid rpm throttle response and high torque output - includes Auto Fast Idle System (AFIS)
Compact double-barrel throttle body design with large 52mm bores for improved power, plus narrow pitch between outer and inner bores - allows use of narrow airbox, fuel tank and bodywork to provide more room for rider's knees/elbows
Twin injectors per throttle body for improved throttle response and acceleration - primary injector operates under all conditions while secondary injector operates under high rpm/heavy load conditions to further increase engine output
Compact cylinder head features large 30mm intake and 24mm exhaust ports, plus smaller combustion chamber and higher 12.5 :1 compression ratio for high power output
Titanium intake and exhaust valves with larger 4.5mm stems for increased strength
Light weight forged pistons featuring chrome-nitride coated upper compression and oil control rings to reduce friction and improve sealing
Reinforced crankshaft and chrome-moly connecting rods, plus recalibrated balancer shaft for dependable high rpm operation
Back-torque limiting clutch allows smooth downshifts, plus a rack and pinion operating system provides more positive clutch feel
Close-ratio transmission for strong acceleration, plus specially designed shift forks for smoother shifting
Large trapezoidal-shaped radiator provides high cooling capacity, plus compact cooling fan design further improves efficiency - system includes high-capacity radiator-type oil cooler
Suzuki Advanced Exhaust System (SAES) - all titanium system designed and positioned to keep mass low and close to the centerline of the machine, plus decrease drag and increase cornering bank angle
Suzuki Exhaust Tuning SystemTM (SET) regulates exhaust pressure waves to suit running conditions and maintain optimum engine torque
ECM-controlled PAIR (Pulsed-AIR) system - operation based on throttle position and engine rpm to reduce HC, CO and NOx emissions
New-design generator supplies power to a compact maintenance-free battery
Chassis Features
Compact overall chassis dimensions including short reach from seat to handlebars, low footpegs, short/narrow fuel tank, low seat height - all designed for improved rider comfort and mobility
Wind-tunnel-developed bodywork with narrow vertical headlights and specially-placed ram-air ducts, plus turn signals integrated with mirrors and tail-section for minimal frontal area and low drag
Bright 55/65W headlight and LED taillight with clear external lens
Compact instrument cluster features an analog tach with rpm indicator, digital speedometer and new gear indicator - also includes LCD odometer-tripmeters, coolant temp., clock and EFI diagnostics
Lightweight aluminum frame with combination cast and extruded spar construction for precisely calculated rigidity - frame design concentrates engine mass more toward the center of the machine for improved handling
Braced aluminum swingarm is lightweight with high rigidity - right side arm is shaped to tuck in the exhaust for improved cornering clearance
Fully adjustable 43mm inverted fork features Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coated stanchion tubes to reduce friction and improve response - includes cross-mounted steering damper
Fully adjustable piggy-back shock absorber with linear rate linkage system for improved suspension response and feedback
Radial-mount four-piston front brake calipers with large 310mm rotors and radial-mount master cylinder for optimum lever feel and feedback

then you havnt ridden one Waylander..once you do you will know.. these things have surical handling, snap the throttle open and feel your eyeballs flatten into your head, grab the anchors and they will stop on a dime and give you 8 cents change..not only that , but they are one of the most COMFORTABLE litre class sportbikes on the market..

ive ridden my share of Cruisers ( probably more than my share) and almost every sportbike aailable in NZ ( Grey market o otherwise) and find the gix Thou to be the Shizzle..

Got me a funny feeling that the K6 750 is exactly the same as the K5, chances are they will upgrade when they change the 600 being a joint project and the 600 is due in 2007 for it's major facelift, although i really feel they should be rolling one out for 06, shame. Colours will change no doubt.

There's still a few of the anniversary ones for sale, i for one reckon they look fucken choice.

Like this colour setup more than the blue / white combo , Red with Black frame reminds me of the 1999 R1's . If they do a k6 in yellow it could end up on my buy list (like the TL1000R colours). Make a good second bike.

That's BS, have you ever ridden a mv1000 ??? I seriously doubt the gxsr is soooo much better it would leave one (or any other 1k sports bike) behind just based on it's merits.

Even with the exhaust looking half as bad is still bad enough.

Having had GSXR1000 for 4 days and thought apart from roll on power / top end rev's, it was very average and felt somewhat vague around corners , I rate 2004 R6 and 2001 748R miles ahead of these on the cornering stakes , far more precise and better road feedback . 190 rear also slows steering. Brakes don't have the bite, control or feel of the brembo's on the Duke and the Duke doesn't even have radial calipers. ( might come down to pad choice maybe / whatever)
Haven't ridden a MV 1k yet but the GSXR1000 isn't a corner master that some make it out to be. Mind you , I can say it's miles better than the TL1000R I've ridden. What I did like about the GSXR was it's comfitable and ability to carry luggage and good low speed traffic manners and excellent rollons. Sounds not that great unless your near redline , but then if you carry that on for too long you might as well burn your licence. Need to try the MV1000 and a 999R soon for a comprassion.
